2025 in Review: A Defining Year For Stalis

Celebrating a Year of Growth and Impact

As 2025 draws to a close, it feels like the right moment to pause and reflect on a year that has been genuinely significant for Stalis. The past twelve months have been defined by growth, collaboration and partnership, but above all by the positive and tangible impact we’ve delivered for our customers and the healthcare and public sector organisations we support.

Across the UK and Ireland, we have continued to strengthen our position as a trusted partner in healthcare data, digital transformation and modernisation. From major customer milestones and first-of-type deliveries, to expanding our leadership team and deepening our engagement with the wider healthcare sector, 2025 has been a year of progress we really want to celebrate.

We have taken a minute to reflect on some of the standout moments.

Kieran Hughes, CEO of Stalis remarks;

2025 has been a remarkable year for Stalis. We’ve strengthened our leadership, sharpened our focus and prioritised outcomes that deliver meaningful change for healthcare organisations navigating an increasingly complex digital landscape. What I’m most proud of, however, is the trust our customers place in us and the way our team shows up every day with integrity and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for those we support.”

A new chapter for Stalis

June marked a hugely important milestone in the Stalis journey. Following the appointment of Stalis Chief Executive Officer, Kieran Hughes towards the end of 2024, the company underwent a complete brand transformation in summer 2025. More than just a new look or feel, our rebrand was a statement of intent, solidifying Stalis’ modern and forward-thinking offering to the market.

At its core, the rebrand represents the scale of our ambition, the maturity of our capabilities and our continued commitment to supporting the NHS and wider health systems through increasingly complex digital change.

At the heart of it is our belief in practical innovation that is credible and grounded in real healthcare delivery. Alongside refreshed branding and a new website, we launched a clearly defined mission that reflects where Stalis is today and where we are heading next.

To mark the moment, we brought together our team, investors and partners for an in person brand launch event. It was a chance to reflect on how far we have come and to celebrate the collective effort behind it. We also welcomed healthcare and technology leaders to a Confed25 Happy Hour at 20 Stories in Manchester, connecting with our peers in a relaxed setting and receiving genuinely positive feedback on the new Stalis brand.

Bringing leaders together for meaningful conversations

Following our brand launch events and continuing the momentum throughout 2025, we placed a strong focus on creating spaces for honest, peer-level conversation across the healthcare community. Partnering with Arlo Marketing to deliver a curated programme of strategic events, one of the highlights was our roundtable in Nottingham, delivered in partnership with SmartCo Future Health. We were honoured to host 40 healthcare executives at the Nottingham Contemporary for an evening of high-quality discussion, supported by a series of thought-led sessions exploring the critical role of data and AI in shaping the future of healthcare.

Alongside our own events, the Stalis team attended a number of conferences across the UK and Europe, contributing to wider conversations on AI, data and digital health. These included the Tech Alliance Parliamentary Summer Reception and invitation-only events hosted by Penny Dash, reinforcing our engagement with policymakers, clinical leaders and technology partners alike.

Investing in leadership and partnerships

2025 was also a year of significant investment in our people. We were delighted to welcome outstanding leaders into the business, strengthening Stalis’ operational, commercial and product capabilities across the UK and Ireland.

We were extremely pleased to appoint Ashleigh Maxwell as Delivery Director, John Flannery as Chief Operating Officer, Damian Pearce as Chief Commercial Officer, Matt Walker as Head of Data Migration and Andrew Craigie as Head of Product. Each brings deep experience, clarity of leadership and fresh energy to their role.

We were also proud to welcome senior advisors Dr David Sharp and Bill Maher, whose insight and guidance continue to play an important role as Stalis scales.

Alongside leadership growth, we expanded our partner ecosystem with organisations including MEDITECH, SmartCo Future Health, Integrella and InterSystems. These partnerships are central to our ability to deliver integrated, high quality solutions for customers navigating complex digital environments.

Delivering results for our customers

Our customers remain at the centre of everything we do. Across 2025 we celebrated several major project successes across the NHS and wider healthcare landscape.

We delivered strong outcomes for West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust and Royal London Free NHS Foundation Trust, where our work led to continued engagement and excellent feedback. As one customer shared:

“Stalis has extensive experience working with Cerner. Phase one of the project was so successful we knew that we absolutely wanted to continue with them as our partner.”

We also successfully delivered a complex data migration project for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals ahead of schedule, and completed a first-of-its-kind data migration into MEDITECH Expanse for Mid and East Cheshire NHS Trust, a significant milestone and a clear example of the trust placed in our delivery teams.

Our external webinar series with NHS England further supported healthcare organisations across the country, offering practical insight into the importance of early planning to achieve safe, high-quality and risk-free data migrations.

The trust we’ve built with customers is something we value deeply. As Robbie Cline, Chief Information Officer at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust commented:

“In the world of healthcare data migration, Stalis has earned the kind of trust you’d associate with names like Cisco, Microsoft, or Oracle. That’s the level they operate at.”

Launching Stalis Monitoring

2025 also saw the launch of Stalis Monitoring, a new product designed to give healthcare organisations real time visibility across data migration, integration and enterprise environments.

Built on decades of frontline NHS experience, Stalis Monitoring addresses a challenge we see repeatedly. Issues are often identified too late, once clinical and operational impact is already felt. The platform provides proactive monitoring, automated alerts and clear insight into system health, enabling earlier intervention, reduced risk and greater confidence during periods of change.

The launch represents a natural evolution of our offering, extending beyond delivery into ongoing assurance and resilience for our customers.

As Head of Product Andrew Craigie explains:

“We built Stalis Monitoring in direct response to what we see across NHS programmes every day. Healthcare systems fail in ways that create immediate clinical and operational risk, and organisations need early, accurate visibility to prevent disruption. Our goal was to create a monitoring layer that identifies issues at source, explains what is happening and accelerates the route to resolution. We are proud to bring a product to market that genuinely improves reliability for the teams delivering and supporting digital health services.”

Deepening our commitment to Ireland

Our long-standing commitment to Ireland continued to grow throughout 2025, closely aligned with the Digital for Care 2030 vision. We hosted a number of strategic roundtable dinners and events with senior stakeholders across the HSE, creating space for thoughtful discussion on Ireland’s digital health future.

We were also proud to sponsor the Irish Medical Times Healthcare Awards, celebrating the achievements of healthcare professionals across the country.

This work is supported by our latest white paper, which sets out the key strategic principles guiding Ireland’s digital transformation over the next five years – alongside Stalis’ 40-year commitment to the Irish market.

Our people, our culture and looking ahead

Reflecting on the year, Ashleigh Maxwell, Delivery Director, shared:

“2025 has been a defining year to be part of Stalis. What excites me most is not just the scale or complexity of the work we deliver, but the intent behind it – helping healthcare organisations unlock value from their data in a way that is safe, credible, and genuinely useful to patient care. Across Delivery, we’ve focused on clarity, accountability and execution discipline with a view to providing outstanding outcomes. As we move into 2026, my confidence comes from knowing we’re building a delivery function that customers can trust and delivers exactly what we say we will. That credibility is what allows Stalis to partner with our customers for the long term, not just complete projects.”

We rounded off the year by bringing together our friends, customers and partners at a special invitation-only roundtable at the Belvedere in London, followed by a Christmas celebration with our team in the Cotswolds. Bringing colleagues and friends together was a genuine and important opportunity to reflect, say thank you and celebrate everything we’ve achieved together.

Looking forward to 2026

As we head into 2026, we’re excited to build on the success of the past year. We’ll continue our work in Ireland, return to Confed26, and expand our Stalis Connects roundtable series across the UK and Ireland. If you’re interested in joining one of our upcoming events, we’d love to hear from you.

Finally, the Stalis team would like to extend our gratitude to our customers, partners, colleagues and investors. Your trust, collaboration and support have made this momentous year possible, and we are looking forward to building on this is 2026.
