CareInform is an open platform based on the CareXML health data management solution which is extended according to the definition of an open platform published by the NHS funded Apperta Foundation, built on open standards – HL7 FHIR, openEHR, SNOMED CT and IHE-XDS.

HOW IT WORKS?
The migration to the CareInform open platform from current ‘megasuite’ electronic health record systems is enabled through the integration of CareXML with local systems enabling healthcare organisations to maximise benefits from current legacy investments whilst providing a clear roadmap to next generation platform technologies.
Our approach avoids applications or data being locked into a single vendor or technology.
