As part of Egress Group’s ambitious growth plans in the UK and Ireland, Damian Pearce has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer for Stalis, the end-to-end data specialists.

As an experienced health tech expert, Pearce has 19 years of experience delivering transformational programmes and change in the NHS. Over the last 12 years, Pearce’s focus has been on data, informatics and reporting delivery, including being involved in Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and King’s College Hospital’s recent EPR implementation – the biggest Epic data migration in the country.

He founded Integris Solutions, which became one of the leading data migration consultancies in healthcare and spent time working in the NHS as an EPR Programme Director.

Pearce’s experience advising healthcare organisations on the full life cycle of EPR programmes and their data requirements, along with deep knowledge of the industry’s clinical solutions, will enable Stalis to meet the evolving needs of its growing customer base.

Specifically, by building on the company’s existing services to help system leaders at a regional and local level across the UK and Ireland make better use of their data and integrate it across geographies in safe and secure environments.

This will include:

  • enhancing Stalis’ product suite to make it more configurable for users and improving data warehousing processes to analyse operational and clinical data for meaningful insights about clinical outcomes
  • expanding the technical and delivery teams with more sector experts
  • introducing new strategic advisory support in the configuration, design and build of EPR and data programmes, which often falls to internal NHS teams that aren’t equipped with the necessary technical skills
  • and capitalising on best practice between Stalis and Egress Group

Commenting on the appointment, Kieran Hughes, CEO, Stalis, said:

“Damian’s experience in this sector is unmatched, so we’re delighted he’s joined us as we continue to make headway in scaling our services in healthcare and with other public and private sector organisations.

“With so much change in the NHS at a national level right now, trusts and ICSs will need proven and experienced delivery partners now more than ever. We’re privileged to have the opportunity to provide these services as their needs evolve.”

On his appointment, Damian Pearce, said:

“As the leading provider of data management services in the NHS, I’ve known and admired Stalis for years. Joining Kieran Hughes and the team at this pivotal moment of growth is a fantastic opportunity. His vision to enhance the company’s offer and become the go-to partner for trusts, ICSs, health boards and national agencies for all data needs will transform the current landscape.

“I’m looking forward to building on their long history of success and refining and enhancing the products and services to meet the evolving needs of healthcare organisations.”
